Armenian Translit and General Update

It is time for an update. Now the Russian Translit section is truly bilingual. To switch between Russian and English the flag in the top left corner has to be pressed. Moreover, we added some description to virtually all functions of the transliteration converter. The Ukrainian Transliterator survived a major face lift and engine update. It now fully supports Ukrainian Spell Check and many other little features of the new engine.

On a separate note the Armenian Transliteration service went online. It runs on the new engine and thus includes all latest features and Armenian spell checker as well.

Welcome to the Translit Blog

This very first post will start a series of notes, where we'll announce new and upcoming features in our online translit service. We also want to engage our visitors and users to actively provide feedback on the current state and suggest their wishes.

As for now, we able to provide to the World the following services:
  • Russian transliteration: supported spell checking, multiple transliteration tables such as ISO 9 and GOST 7.79 (ГОСТ 7.79) as well as many other little handy functions like lookup of the typed words in multiple language dictionaries and machine translators, searching in search engines...
  • Ukrainian transliteration: straight conversion of Latin letters into Ukrainian Cyrillic letters. Currently not many additional features.
We are constantly working to improve the translit converter and your words and participation is our best payback. Please, don't hesitate to contact us on any occasion, no email will stay unanswered.
